When you decided to use GOTS certified organic cotton clothing for your little one, you decided to limit chemicals, pesticides, or harmful fertilizers anywhere near your baby’s extremely porous skin.

Our GOTS certified organic cotton is NOT TREATED with fluorocarbon polymers or any other shrinkage resisting chemicals. The fabric is loomed from natural plant fibers and the yarn or threads may naturally contract when wet and machine dried. Therefore, organic cotton can shrink a little in typical heavy duty machine cycles, with toxic laundry detergents, fast spins and high temperature drying. For proper handling, we request you refer to the Care instructions.

Nonetheless, GOTS certified organic cotton clothing is not delicate. On the contrary it is quite resilient and will become soft after every wash and can be lovingly passed down for others to enjoy.
