Role Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Account Manager to join our team. This role combines a strong focus on managing and optimizing product data across our advanced circular commerce platforms as well as supporting account management and sales activities.

As an Assistant Account Manager, you will ensure brand partner product data accuracy and integrity while collaborating with clients and internal teams to maintain strong relationships, manage sales funnels, and contribute to outreach efforts. This position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical precision and client-facing engagement, eager to grow within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Product Data Management:

  • Collaborate with brand partners to collect, validate, and structure product data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
  • Enter and maintain product data within internal systems, ensuring data integrity and seamless integration across platforms.
  • Partner with the demand and merchandising teams to ensure data is consistently classified and aligned across all sales channels for optimal visibility and performance.
  • Syndicate product data across multiple sales channels, leveraging internal tools to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
  • Monitor and resolve data discrepancies proactively, addressing issues promptly to maintain the integrity of operations and customer experience.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement advanced tools and technologies, including AI-driven solutions, to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and speed of product data workflows.

Client Relationship Support:

  • Act as the primary coordinator for day-to-day account operations, ensuring smooth execution of client needs and operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information, oversee logistics for shipments, and ensure timely resolution of routine inquiries.
  • Manage smaller operational requests autonomously, while escalating strategic or complex matters to the sales lead for further attention.
  • Provide proactive updates and maintain consistent communication with clients, building trust and ensuring an excellent client experience.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to streamline operations, managing routine account tasks to ensure focus on strategic client development and growth opportunities.

Lead Development:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential brand partners and gather key insights to support lead generation efforts.
  • Initiate outreach efforts to activate top-of-funnel opportunities through cold touchpoints and personalized communication.
  • Assist in developing sales presentations, proposals, and other materials to support business development efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Strong technical aptitude, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use formulas, pivot tables, and manipulate datasets effectively. A solid understanding of data organization and structure is essential to the role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence and professionalism to represent the company effectively in client interactions.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks with precision and efficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  • A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, proactive attitude, and the drive to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with and experience with database systems, AirTable, AI tools, or automation technologies is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $50k-$55k yearly salary based on experience
  • Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance for full-time employees
