The Howard Miller Burton II is a traditional Cherry tambour-style chiming mantel clock with sloping lines. The off-white dial features Arabic numerals and old-style serpentine hands. This anniversary edition mantel clock features decorative top molding and triangular burl overlays. Finished in Windsor Cherry on solid hardwoods and select veneers. The oversized off-white dial has Roman numerals and contrasting black formal filigree hands. Quartz, battery-operated, triple-chime Harmonic movement plays a choice of full Westminster or Ave Maria chimes with strike on the hour with 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 chimes. Westminster chime may also be set to strike on the hour only. Bim Bam chime counts the hour only or chime may be turned off. Volume control and an automatic nighttime chime shut-off option will silence the chime automatically at night between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Powered by two C-sized batteries.
